Serial filings in bankruptcy

When a person filed bankruptcy more than twice, that is serial filing. Serial filing does not mean anything bad. It just carries more scrutiny. There is no limit on how many times a person can file bankruptcy in their lifetime. We at the Rashid Law Firm have seen cases where a person filed bankruptcy nine times in four years. The cases kept getting dismissed for failure to file documents.

A serial filer does run the risk of having the next case be dismissed for bad faith. To avoid having a case dismissed repeatedly, or even once, contact an experienced bankruptcy attorney at the Rashid Law Firm in Houston, Texas.
