How to stop creditors from calling?

One possible way to stop creditors from calling is through filing bankruptcy. A bankruptcy filing under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code enacts what is known as the "automatic stay." The automatic stay is an injunction against your creditors from continuing all collection activity. Your creditors are paralyzed from collecting. You are protected from your creditors in accordance with 11 USC Section 362. There are certain exceptions. For more information on the automatic stay, please feel free to contact us at 832-209-8833.
