Which debts are not eliminated in bankruptcy?

Generally, the following debts are considered non-dischargeable in bankruptcy:

  • Taxes

  • Student Loans

  • Debts caused by fraud

  • Recent Cash Advances

  • Debts caused by willful or malicious acts to another person or property

  • Child Support

  • Alimony

  • Recent Credit Purchases

  • Marital Debts

  • Operating Vehicle While Intoxicated

  • Criminal Fines

  • Citations
