Lenny Dykstra charged with bankruptcy fraud

Baseball star Lenny Dykstra, who played for the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies, has been charged with bankruptcy fraud. The charges allege that Dyksta sold assets of the bankruptcy estate that would have otherwise been used to pay his creditors. If convicted, Dykstra could face up to five years in prison. The count is entitled "embezzling from the bankruptcy estate." The charge stems from the bankruptcy case he filed on July 7, 2009.
